Effective September 2, 2026
This is a personal website. I’m not a company collecting or selling your data — I’m one person who wants you to know exactly what happens (and mostly, what doesn’t happen) when you visit.
Who this covers
This policy applies to justinache.com and labs.justinache.com, where I publish small web apps and tools I’ve built. Both are personal projects, owned and operated by me, Justin Ache, based in Jacksonville, Florida.
What I collect
I don’t run ads, sell anything, or track you across the web. The only data involved is:
- Basic traffic stats. My hosting provider automatically logs standard visit information — things like IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and referring site — the same way most web servers do. I check these aggregate numbers occasionally to see how much traffic the site gets. I don’t use Google Analytics or other third-party trackers, and I don’t set tracking or advertising cookies.
- Usage of the web apps on labs.justinache.com. If you use one of the tools I’ve built there, I can typically see basic usage information — for example, that a tool was used, and roughly how often — the same way any app owner can see how their software gets used. Unless a specific app says otherwise, I’m not collecting, storing, or sharing anything you enter into it beyond what’s needed to run the tool during your session.
What I don’t collect
There are no user accounts, comment forms, contact forms, or newsletter sign-ups on either site as of this writing, and no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. If that ever changes, I’ll update this page.
Cookies
Neither site uses cookies to track or identify visitors. (WordPress may set a small technical cookie when I personally log in to manage the site — that’s not something visitors encounter.)
How I use this information
Only to get a rough sense of how the sites are used and to keep them running. I don’t sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
Who I share it with
My hosting provider, because they run the servers these sites live on. I don’t sell or share your information with anyone else, and I don’t use any third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing platforms.
Your rights
Florida’s main privacy law, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, is aimed at large companies and doesn’t formally apply to a small personal site like this one. Even so, if you have questions about what I hold or want something looked into — including having it deleted — email me at hello@justinache.com and I’ll take care of it.
Children’s privacy
Neither site is directed at children, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
I may update this page occasionally as the site changes. The date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
